ঝিনাই নদীর খাল,
সারস পাখি ধরবে পুঁটি
বসে দিচ্ছে চাল।
পানির কাছে গিয়ে সারস
মাছের অপেক্ষায়,
পানির উপর ভাসা মাছ কে
যদি ধরতে পায়।
সারস হলো চালাক পাখি
চোখের দৃষ্টি খুব,
সাদা রঙের দুটি পাখা
দেখতে অপরুপ।
মাছ কে ধরে সারস পাখি
করে যায় হইচই,
তাই না দেখে খোকন সোনা
খুশি রাখে কই।
