আমি পরজন্মের বিশ্বাসী নই
পরজন্ম যদি থাকে, তবে আমি
ধরণীর বুকে জন্ম নেবো আরেকবার।
আমি ফুল হবো না,পাখি হবো না,তরূলতা হবো নদীর জল হয়ে অথৈই সাগরে মিশে যাবো না,
আমি মানুষ হয়ে জন্ম নিতে চাই আবার।
মানুষ হয়ে জন্ম নিয়ে মিশে রবো মানুষের মাঝে
আমি মিশে যাবো এই বাংলার প্রকৃতি রূপে
আমি পাখিদের সাথে কথা বলবো
নেচে গেয়ে গান শোনাবে আমায় ,
এই বাংলার গাছ পালা আকাশ বাতাস
উদাস হয়ে, ডাকে আমায় শুন।
তুই যে আমার পরম বন্ধু প্রকৃতির মাঝে ছায়া।
জন্ম ভূমির মানুষ গুলো একই সুতায় গাঁথা
যেনো এক অদ্ভুত মায়া।
একজনের বিপদে হাজার জনের ছায়া,
আমি আবার ফিরে পেতে চাই, মায়ের আদর, বাবার শাসন, ভাই বোনের ভালোবাসা।
আমি যে জন্মভূমি এই বাংলাকে ভালবাসি।
বাংলার মাঝে মিশে থাকতে চাই
এ আমার জন্ম জন্মান্তরের আশা ।
আমি পরজন্ম বিশ্বাসী নই, তবুও
যদি জন্ম হয় আরেকবার,
মানুষ হয়ে জন্ম নেবো আবার।
